Yes. Workflow usually goes fridge > sink > range > sink/serve > sink/fridge. But not always.

I've just done a costly remodel to reduce the 16' I used to have from fridge to cooktop. Since you're doing a single wall, however, there's no way to compact that. Therefore, if you're like me and often go to the fridge for something while tending a pot on the stove, and if you don't mind carrying prep food from one end to the other, then put the range in between sink and fridge. This also gives you an opportunity to center the range as a visual feature.

If you don't care so much about how close the stove is to the fridge, but want a more direct workflow, as above, then do it that way. 24" should be enough room between the range and wall.
