i'm having a hard time imagining the layout - a picture would help -- but just wanted to say the colors sound great!

My bathroom is like that. The toilet sits back in at the head of the tub so the access panel to the tub shut-off's is beside the toilet.

I think over the years I have tried all sorts of things in that area. I started off with just a picture behind the toilet and then went to a small shelving until with 3 shelves and years ago changed up to one of those wooden cabinets that goes around and over the toilet. I do have items on the side walls but different things, not just photos. Since the cabinet is only a few inches from the ceiling, I can't hang artwork behind the toilet so I have a small stitched sign on the wall to the right and an old enamal bathtub and basin on the the left.

What I would honestly do right now is hang what you have. Shop for more items to fill the space but don't worry about doing it all NOW. The room is new and different so putting only a small amount of things in to decorate will be enough and over time when you're wanting changes, then you can see what you can find out there to fill the other spaces if you want.

I think your layout looks like ours. Before I had anything on the wall behind the toilet the space looked cavernous. Then I added the small shelf with hooks on the side wall and it was just what that blank wall needed.
The framed art is centered on the wall space between the countertop and the other "stall wall".
