I'm still ABB and ABVM but plan on getting one eventually.

I see this is for a blade problem. Does anyone have splattering problems? A friend has one that is splattering even with the lid on. I have not seen this happen, just saw all the splatters. They said it does this even when they hold the lid on. It's the Turbo model.

We registered ours. It is part of the recall. DH said he has seen some unexpected splashing. Can't wait to see what the gift is. Thanks for the heads up!

Hm, I better check that serial number even though it seems to be a different model.

Yes, thanks for the heads up!

Ours is part of the recall too. Thanks a2, looking forward to my surprise free gift too :)

I just wrote to them that mine was not performing as well and described the pulverizing problem in full detail and they troubleshooted based on what I said and told me that they would send a new container. excellent customer service!

I haven't noticed any particular splashing problems
We will have to compare gifts :-)
I should credit Sheffield over on appliances for first posting although embedded in a long thread.
Hope others take the time to verify serial numbers.
Also glad that I bought the smaller container as I might have DTs without my VM.

Thanks for posting! Mine is a recall, too.
