I think the taller tables make more sense, as the arm on the loveseat is bulky, and the taller tables allow the user to place their drink on the table without having to lean over the arm.

I agree with les - the taller table makes more sense for drinks, etc.. I think it looks great.

Thanks les and erica. I've been looking at them all day and really like the tall ones too. Whew! Another decision made and in record time too! Only problem now is that I really like them in the library too and having four of the same tables, even in two different rooms, is a bit much. ha!

Now it's on to try and find a mirror for that short wall in this space.

Maybe! But definitely do-able. If they are just right, and you like them, why not? After looking at 500+ bedside table lamps over the last two years, I finally found the perfect one, and ordered a pair for our newly redone master bedroom. Both DH and I love them. Yesterday I was looking at an awkward corner in our den and thought, "I wonder...". Moved one of the new lamps there and it's just right. So will probably order a third for that corner. The only people we have to please are ourselves!

We tried them in the library for a day and they don't look nearly as good there as the old ones so that's another big "whew!"

Question for the day is about lamps. I am wondering if I should keep the floor lamp there or if I should put another table lamp on the end table? I have another one just like the one that is on the left but I can't decide if I want to take it out of the packing and use it or if the floor lamp is best.

Also, does anyone have any thoughts about a mirror on that short wall? I'm looking at lots of them but I can't figure out what I like and what might look good there. The only thing I know is that I don't want a sunburst there.
