The entryway to my kitchen from the hallway has a slab of wall, about 13" wide and 8' high that I'm trying to figure out what to do with. It's an HVAC intake chase and I can't really afford do anything structural. The doorway is only 27" wide, so I can't really build up trim or do paneling. This wall also meets up with a soffit which we ARE planning to apply trim to look like it's part of the cabinetry.

The wall opposite will also be paneled and painted to match the cabinetry.

Here's the space. Sorry I had to split it up into to two pictures. One is the upper area with the soffit, the other is the bottom part of that wall.

I'm considering tile from floor to ceiling. Here's an inspiration photo. Bear in mind, I won't have this awesome apple green tile...
