Backsplash Help Needed - What would you do?

I'm re-framing this question from a previous post, because I'm not sure I was clear what I was asking and I need your expert opinions! We ordered Adex Hampton white crackle tiles and the bullnose pieces do not match the field tiles. (I already ordered Walker Zanger Soho tiles and returned those for the same problem, which was more noticeable than the Adex.) Would you:

1. Install it anyway. (In some lighting, it's not very noticeable).

2. Keep looking and risk the same thing happening with another manufacturer. (Allison0704, I haven't forgotten your suggestion and can't wait to check them out.)

3. Order quarter round trim pieces from Adex, so even if the color doesn't match, it would be a much thinner tile and maybe not as noticeable. Only one wall will have a backsplash and one side of the backsplash needs a trim piece.

Adex field and bullnose tiles.

Sorry if I missed your answer on your earlier post,
but why do you need the bullnose piece?
What function or look does it provide you?

Couldn't your tile installer/contractor finish the edge of the tile with grout?
(This is what our contractor did since our WZ tile didn't come with a bullnose or trim piece that matched.)

    Hi Francoise47,

I saw that you answered my other post as well and responded to you there. Thank you for your help!

Did anyone else have this problem? Am I just being too picky? I think I would ultimately like to have a bullnose piece at the end. Can anyone recommend a company (for a white crackle subway) where the bullnose matched the field tiles? Thanks in advance!

i would not install if it is noticible. i know ypu are kitchen construction fatigued and i can relate but hold out and do it right. find another edge solution or re-order from vendor who has stuff in stock that you can inspect.

Thanks for the suggestion, Davidro1. I think the Schluter edge is a little more contemporary and not sure it will match with my kitchen. Good to know there are other options though.

Thank you, Babushka Cat, for putting it into perspective for me. Yes, I am so construction fatigued, I'm willing to put mismatched tiles on the wall! (After being so picky about everything else.)

I haven't been able to find any vendors that have crackle tile in stock. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks!

My white/cream crackle tile does not match the bullnose perfectly. I actually thought a mistake was made when I opened the boxes, but they are supposedly the same tile.
I ended up using the bullnose tiles and because of the handmade nature of the tile it doesn't stand out. I also think the decorative pieces are off on color too.
Because it it Halloween and I have a few spooks to entertain, I will take a pic tomorrow and post it for you.

Thank you, Michellemarie, I would love to see a photo. What brand tile did you choose?

    Happy Halloween!
