I frequently see it on craigslist down here in So. Fl. The problem is someone have the same layout and being able to use the dimensions you have with the same cutouts. If you price it really well, then it will allow someone the ability to have it re-fabricated if necessary. If all else fails, donate it to a Habitat Re-store and take the tax deduction.

Someone with a smaller kitchen might be able to use it, at least the solid run.

I bought granite that was in a kitchen shop display. I was lucky, there were no cutouts for a sink or cooktop.

You can also try a salvage place. They might not pay the most, but the transaction should at least be quick and straightforward.

I would have the installer remove it, if possible.

If not, the salvage place could probably do it, but the skill level varies a lot.

Thanks so much everyone, these are helpful ideas. I'm going to try salvage yard and habitat or other non-profit. The more I think about it, the more I can't bring myself to have strangers over to my house to look at it. Just me!

I don't think you can sell it for much, but if you're mostly looking for a good home for it, yes, someone is sure to want it. If there's new on Craigslist and you can't compete, try Freecycle.

The OP is from ten years ago...I doubt they still have the tops in question.

This response was to try and help anyone who may have the same question. For the record...we employ people with special needs. Please know that my only intention was to divert the granite and create jobs. We get this same question on a daily basis. Sorry if it offended anyone.
