Appliance Hardware - need help

I need to purchase pulls for my kitchenAid built-in refrigerator and dishwasher. Do I need to get hardware that is specifically for appliances? I was looking at the Restoration Hardware and they have a pull that I really like that comes 12" long, which I think would work for the refrigerator(see link). It would also coordinate nicely with the RH pulls and knobs that I got for my cabinets.

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks,

I am using a 4" pull on my DW and 7" pulls on my fridge. The appliance sized pulls were too big for the I was trying to achieve.
