Just one soap disperser here. I use Dawn for my hands and hand washing dishes. It's not like you're gonna die using antibacterial dish soap for your hands. One less gizmo on the sink to clean around.

That's what i thought, too. Although I do buy hand soaps frequently because I love how they smell. There are probably people out there with sensitive skin who can't wash their hands with dish soap all the time, also.

The Method brand dishsoap smells wonderful! That's what I have in my soap dispenser, and I love it for my hands too.

The hand soap I have by the sink right now is pear and ginger scented. It is unbelievable. I bought it at Winners so I will probably never find it again.

I have one for hand soap and one for dish soap. It is not a major issue to clean. The kids caught on very quickly and we're happy...when the darn thing works!

One dispenser is a Grohe with the Never-MT and we're about ready to throw this NeverM-T gizmo out and replace with the bottle that came with the dispenser. The other dispenser is a Brizo Venuto and works like a charm.

I had problem with my last installed dispenser. I couldn't refill the bottle from below the countertop. The sink was in the way and it was too hard to reach. Fortunately, this dispenser allowed to refill from the top but it was very messy.

Then, I started to like using foam soaps but the only 2 foam dispensers that are made for countertop mounting required to use their refills hand soap, no dish soaps. They didn't give me a choice to use my favorites.

When I recently replaced the countertop with granite, I chose not to use any mounting dispensers. Instead, I purchased plain foam soap dispenser bottles and filled 1 with my favorite hand soap and the other with my choice of dish soap. To make the foam mixture is easy. Mix 1 part of soap (any type) + 3 parts of water in the bottle. Shake up a little to mix it and it's ready to use. Sure saves lots of soap this way.

I purchased a natural stone towel holder tray and placed the 2 bottles on it to keep the countertop clean. You may even want to ask your granite contractor to make a similar tray for your bottle dispensers from the leftover granite. This would match nicely with your countertop. I couldn't because my granite was too thick (3cm) to make into a tray.

Options one and three. I have a pump bottle for handsoap but still use the dish soap in the dispenser to wash hands.

I don't know why.

My quartz countertop is being installed next week. I only have the single handle spray faucet. Nothing else, I have had soap dispensers for years and was never happy with any of them. Just something else to clean around.

Good idea though to have a dish made out of your counter top material! I like that!

I'm just putting in one for dish soap which I'll use for my hands too. Funnily enough I was just having this conversation with my Mom this afternoon- cuz I was debating whether to get a sink tip out tray for my hand soap bar (turns out I won't have enough depth with my huge sink)- and she said you have your hands in the soapy water when washing dishes anyways (our family doesn't use rubber gloves). Remember the old Palmolive commercials 'You're soaking in it!'?

Hope I don't have problems with the dispenser- I'm looking forward to no more dish soap bottles on the counter. Mind you with a new bigger DW, maybe I won't be washing so many dishes by hand anymore! :>)

I have only one that I use for hand soap. We wash our hands much more often than do the dishes. When it's dish time, I just grab the bottle from under the sink. I wanted as little "stuff" as possible that I needed to clean around.

With our old set up we kept a small bottle of dawn and hand soap at the sink. The intention was to keep the Dawn in the cabinet under the sink but, it just never happened. When we replaced our sink, faucet and countertop we added a soap dispenser for the Dawn. We thought that we would wash our hands with the Dawn but found that it was hard to rinse it off our skin and it made our hands dry. Since we wash our hands more than dishes we purchased a clear glass soap dispenser to keep on the counter for hand soap.
