You're not supposed to set the oven, too? For my probe (both for my old F&P ovens and for my new Monogram), I set the probe temp, then set the oven to Bake or Roast, then set the oven temp.

OK...Just checked the Electrolux user's manual. It said
1)probe into food
2)probe into oven
3)hit 'oven'
4)select a cooking mode
5)hit 'cook options'
6)press 'probe' and adjust the probe temp desired.
7)press 'start'

You didn't mention all of those steps, so did you miss any?

I hope you get it to work, because having a probe is one of my favorite oven features. Best wishes!

I did those steps and ran into problems when I hit #7. As soon as I hit "start" it knocked my temperature from 350 to 240. I will try it again and then call Electrolux I guess.

iceqween13. I know this is many years later, but did you get a fix for your oven? My electrolux oven is doing the exact same thing.
