My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    The secret to keeping the bugs away is to keep the wood from drying out by resealing with some frequency. No bug spray needed unless you let the wood dry out.

      Thank you Raul for answering my question! THis is overwhelming... I have the douglass fir ready and cut here. And also, do you built first the pergola with the sanded wood and then stain? Or first stain the pieces and then built it?
