The lamps we lucked out on and were from Homegoods. They are sitting on Chanel books, but any black book works well as a base.

I just bought a lamp somewhat similar to the one in the photo at Home Goods on Saturday. I came home and realized that the lamp needed height so I put a couple of books under the lamp. I did not realize that there was a book under the lamp in the photo until I read you response. Remarkable!
