As parents, we understand that while everyday family life brings much joy, it inevitably comes with busy schedules, daily chaos, and a frequent "This is why we can't have nice things!" mentality. At Curated Nest, we believe that when a design is thoughtfully curated and carefully executed, every member of the family can have nice things, and our priority is to create homes where function, quality, and aesthetics seamlessly blend. Our process begins working with our clients one-on-one to learn about lifestyle, family dynamics, and daily routines. This process ensures a personalized design that is not only beautiful and cohesive, but functional for your growing family. As a full service design firm, our clients enjoy expertise for all types of design projects, ranging from kitchen and bath renovations, to whole home design and decor. Regardless of the scope, we consistently keep an eye on organization and multi-functionality, creating special spaces for every family member with a mindfulness of child and pet friendly materials. Over the years, we have found that families want purposeful spaces that enhance their daily life experiences. With Erin's 15+ years running her own interior design studio, EMC2 Interiors, and Lina's 10+ years in business consulting and interior design training at the Fashion Institute of Technology, Curated Nest's expertise in designing for the family unit is second to none. Both Erin and Lina have a passion for children’s design and have created magical spaces from babies through teenagers, that grow with your child and that incorporate Montessori developmental philosophies.
