It is fairly easy to achieve this look. There are three different methods I think would be the best to recreate the mural. The first way would be 1.) The Projector Method: It is best to do this wall in layers starting with the yellow gold faux painted antique looking background with the brown painted, stained or glaze along the edges of the wall. The first layer also looks like it has faint script on it but it is hard to tell on my computer but if you would like to have script on the first layer it would look very nice either way.. The two top images ~ 1. Post card ~2. Eiffel Tower both have a distinct outline but inside the outline of ~1. The pink paint looks like a semi-transparent color wash as you can see the first layer shown through the pink but like the outline the letters and stamp are lightly painted over the color wash. ~2. The Tower is also semi-tranparent over the first layer. With an overhead projector and a photo of the mural you could easily copy the Post Card and Tower. Since it is a painted mural you can copy it almost exactly or you can alter it in many ways to suit your individual taste. I attached some images from the graphics fairy to show you an example of an image you could down load that may make the top layer of images clearer in the projector but if you go to this site there are so many French typography images if you would like to customize the mural to your exact liking and you would find many full images of the Eiffel Tower to down load since some of it is cut off in the photo. Method #2.) The Wall Stencil method: You are in luck because there is a Stencil with just about everything you need for the images called "Springtime in Paris Stencil Set" which includes the ~ Paris Postage Stamp~ the ~Paris Postmark~ and for the background ~ an allover pattern french letter stencil for walls in a script style font ~. They also have a perfect book "Creating the French Look" Which would help you with the background layer and everything else dedicated to this mural. The Stencil set, book and all the painting, glazing and stencil supplies can be found at http://www.royaldesignstudio.com . You would begin this method by doing the background layer the same way. Start by painting the wall with the yellow/gold faux painted antique looking background (or any colors you choose )then applying the brown paint, stain or glaze to the edges of the wall. Then add stencils or you could even mix it up by using wall decals which also come in all shapes and sizes, such as the Eiffel Tower in the mural would most likely be easier to find in a decal than a stencil in that size.
