Are the panels pre-finished in Arctic White? I would have never thought of using white, but I love it.

Yes, the panels were pre-finished in a white similar to 'Arctic White'. A 'cool' white functions wonderfully as a canvas for warm natural materials. I'm glad you agree! Thanks for your comment and question.

Yo are referencing "Arctic White" is this arctic white by Hardi Panel correct, when you had yours pre finished, what exact white paint did you use- they vary so much but I love the white you selected.

What did you use between the panels (in the seams)? I know Hardie has a specific product for this look (Reveal) that has all the flashings and trim, but the panels are 3x the cost of their HardiePanel. I’ve always wondered the difference.

This is an open rain-screen utilizing air (it's just open gaps between the panels) instead of flashing. Extra care is required and the appropriate materials and installation applied at the drainage plane (house wrap, penetration flashings, etc.).

Wow, thanks Lee. Is there any way to see any details on the installation? I’ve trawled the Hardie web site and they kick you to the reveal system for this look. I’m assuming there has got to be something behind the gaps that’s “hard”, (ie, I’m assuming you don’t see the WRB if you look in the gaps??)
