Thank you. Ultimately we want to gut this entire space, closet included, and reconfigure it all. But this was our quick inexpensive fix to get rid of all the light colors and warm it up. Trimming out the mirror made a huge difference to me too.

Updating the cabinet color and adding decorative pulls, as you did, can change the room's feel entirely. My sister recently did the same thing in her kitchen. Upon closer examination during a recent visit, I was surprised out just how good the cabinet paint finish looked. Very clean and professional looking--proving that refinishing cabinets is not a project for the uninitiated to be afraid of.

Looks very nice, good job! But do reconsider a "total gut job", see what you can keep--the cabinets, for example, seem in good shape. I'd chuck the floor, counter top and maybe reconsider the tub/shower set up.

Great orange color; it helps the white molding to stand out. and the black cabinets are a great color to add depth and balance it out.

It's truly amazing how just a few cosmetics can really liven up the place. The orange walls really make a bold statement and it looks great with the dark cabinets. Oh and I love the rug!

Diyer59 - this bath needs a gut job - it has the same layout of every master bath in the neighborhood and I have a vision for the new shower, tub and a better laud out master closet. :). We need a fresh start along with heated floors to keep our toes warm in these Colorado winters! :)

I like what you did. Also, I took apart, by myself, our ugly gold framed shower surround we inherited from previous owners, and I took the pieces to the garage and spray painted it Rustoleum oil rubbed bronze; several light coats for durability and a day dry time in between coats. It turned out awesome and updated the look in our bathroom without buying new.
