We moved into our 1995 farm/cape style house two years ago and I am ready to make some more changes. I need some ideas for my kitchen. I am trying to convince my husband that having the cabinets stained would really update our oak heavy house. That is still a work in progress. Hard wood floors are being installed in March a few shades darker than current oak. I would like ideas for back splash, space over sink, and wall color. My adjoining living room is Richmond Gold and the other adjoining rooms are shades of sage green.One is the dining room and I like the color in there. THe other room is the mud room and I will paint that room soon as well. I also don't know about light fixtures. They work for now, but not my choice.
