Nice titanum!! I got a dozen seed a couple of years ago and I have been shcoked by how easy this species is to grow in front of a window 12 months of the year. It might be tough once it gets large, but as a small plants in 10 inch pots this might be my easiest Amorphophallus. Lovely pics and keep up the good work on growing this beauty :o) Dan

If you look at the little stick in the pot you will see the height of last years gowth.

This was the first year it went dormant. After nearly three months I thought I lost it so I removed it from the pot only to find a small chute just starting.

That is impressive! I just bought 2 seeds, and am hoping they were not too dry to grow. How long did germination take for your seeds? What was the % germination rate?

Well it's 2014, eight years later and my Amorphophallus titanum is doing very well. There has been one pot replant over the years going to a larger pot and I am excited that maybe soon I will be getting a flower.

I was really hoping for a flower this time coming out of dormancy. Going on 10 years old I was hoping it was about time. Here are some current pics. This is about 3 weeks growth. The leaf is getting ready to open.

I have to rotate the pot daily. It will wonder toward the sunlight 2-3 inches a day.
