Wow Caroline, that's especially beautiful! Very African violet in spirit & feel. It'd be quite lovely to have a cup of tea on or near that (somehow it's making me feel very British)!!

Can I pls. ask what's on the back -- am guessing the green of the binding, or the light ground colored print of the border?

Now that is fantastic, so springy. Just what you need on these cold dreary mornings. How do you find the time???

Wow, Caroline, that's really pretty. Did you leave the edges raw like in the French Roses pattern?

I love to see other people translate their quilting skills into 'not JUST quilts'. That is a really pretty item, and you did a very nice job on it. I had not known how handy table runners are until I used two of the testle kitty blocks back when Vicky was doing the Block Lottos. They were off-size, so I couldn't send them in. But, I really struggled until I got the technique right and didn't want to waste them, and sewed them together into a runner for my dining room table. Not only was it pretty, but practical. I keep a hurricane lamp and salt/pepper/tookpick holde on that table, and it not only keeps them from scratching the finish, when I use the table, I can just sweep them in toto by pulling the table runner, to one side so I can work, then sweep it back.

Yes, your item just sings out that spring is coming.
