It seems to bring in other room colors. I like it.

Simple updates: remove the vase on the floor in one corner and the small chest in the other corner. Remove the 3 small items on the walls and the items on the chest on the right, except for the lamp and larger dark item (can't quite see what it is). You have a nice room!

I prefer the first rug. Your floors are beautiful! What type of wood and stain are they?

The floors are white oak 2 1/4 inch. Custom stain color. A mix of medium and golden brown.
