Cashmere Carrara

Looking for opinions on MSI Q cashmere carrara quartz countertop. Also in the running- Della Terra Santa Margherita quartz in Lyskamm. Any thoughts or experiences related to these products is appreciated. Thank you.

Quartz is always a fantastic kitchen countertop option, as opposed to real carrera, which is extremely high maintenance. I use quartz all the time for both kitchen and bathroom countertops. Try Frosty Carrera by Caesarstone, too. One of my favorites. They have a lifetime guarantee on their products.

So we had MSI Cashmere Carrera Quartz 3 cm. installed recently and love it. While it is not like a marble it is a nice white with grey veining so it is not plain white. I used it with Benjamin Moore Wedding Veil white on my cabinets and Arctic White 3x6 backsplash. It looks fantastic.

tckal10 - We are having the same issue. We originally selected Carrara Grigio after visiting the MSI showroom. But, now a week before install we are changing to Cashmere Carrara. Cabinetry is BenjaminMoore Decorators White.

jderussy - Would love to see your countertops/cabinets! Sounds like we are doing something similar.

@jderussy, would you post a picture of your cashmere carrara MSI quartz? And let us know if you had any issues. I'm hearing mixed reports of MSI vs Silestone (I'm considering Ariel Silestone vs Cashmere Carrara MSI) and mixed reports of India-made or China-made vs other Quartz countertops. Thanks very much!

@hartmorgan how did your install turn out? We just picked cashmere Carrara from Msi and it looked like decorators white would be good for our trim.

I am wondering if anyone has installed the Cashmere Carrara with an ogee edge. It will cost an extra $750 for my space...is it worth it for that added touch in your opinion?

Looping back around to say we did go with the ogee edge on the island only and LOVE IT! It was definitely worth the money for the custom look it gave to that area.
