Groveraxle are you saying that a demilune can be made into a vanity with sink? I am looking for a smaller vanity for my powder room so this is intriguing for me.

Sorry meant to say love the idea of a jewel box guest bath. You can make anything into a vanity if it's the right size (height and width are important considerations too).

toomanywhitewalls, we've had many posts here where people have turned all manner of furniture (and non-furniture) into vanities. Just saw one the other day where someone turned a shipping crate into a vanity. So yes, any chest or table can be modified to accept a sink and plumbing. Some furniture is easier than others though.

You may have trouble finding a demilune that is exactly what you want.

Whether you do undermount or vessel sink, you only need to coordinate with the height of the cabinet and, of course, the look you want. I don't think either is more difficult than the other. Any cabinet you get will have to be modified somewhat anyway to make way for plumbing.
