I really would like to see Ali's cards. Once I was up in the night, and as it happened, so was Ali....I think we were the only 2 US Houzzers awake. We had a lovely conversation there in our respective pjs.

nw...Ali had a heck of a time sleeping at night. Thank you for spending that time with her. I know how much it meant to her.

As I recall, we were comparing moon views. I wandered out in my backyard just so I could give her a good description. Hugs to you bubba.

I have PV card. Maybe while she was making it but I thought it included completed version.Thought I sent them. I've been wondering if you have all of Rina's pics. I started worrying what I had done and dont think I sent the innards of it.

OK I have some ideabooks set up in this way... They are public. Everyone should be able to see them. All you have to do is go to my profile, and find them--the ones marked "Ali- card for..." and you should all be able to see what I have.

B, and Rina, I censored out your names where they appeared. Well, Rina I left your first name on yours. :) I hope I caught it all. If not, send me a message, and I can take anything you want OFF of the ideabook.

I gave the "owner" of each card editing rights, so that additional pictures and commentary can be made on the photos. Please comment on them, so that I can see if this works... Thanks!

Rred, bless you. I've found them but am not going to look at them just now as I'm a bit emotionally raw anyway -- a dear friend's baby is critically ill. Her name is Ayanda. Please pray for her.

Just took a look at a couple of the cards...They are stupendous. I had seen them talked about and there had been a few of the photos up earlier at various times...wow, what a gift! :) You brightened my day!

Wow...thanks Rredpen ... She was a true artist wasn't she? Doing things for the joy of doing them. So great that you have so many photographs of her work.

Bubbas... This is the moment that we dread isn't it? I have a friend that I see once a year and we're at the point where each time I leave I'm not sure I'm going to see her again.

A difficult truth about aging. It's a time of loss.

I agree, licksch. Ali was a real artist! I sobbed over the love and thoughtfulness in each one. They are all so personal, so special. I cannot imagine the time taken in every creation.

Bubbas, I am sorry for your loss. There's just always a little hole in your heart.

Licksch, so beautifully said. This is such a hard time of life, the sandwich generation and the glue that's still trying to hold all we can of traditions, memories and security for others. But like sand, there's no keeping it in our grasp. I remind myself that I always stand to lose something or someone...just when I think there's hardly any left. Then life reminds me differently and I give thanks once again.

I'm sorry for this loss, Bubbas. Sigh.Very Sad.

Thank you still for your prayers. I got a call this morning -- her papa doesn't have a high-end phone and it was hard to hear, but I gather she has been released from hospital. Please keep her in your thoughts. That little girl has been through two life-threatening situations now, and will need a great deal of healing.

B, when I go to Rred's page I don't see anything until I click ideabooks. Which shows "0" before I click it, which is confusing, but I am used to being confused.

Hey Cullen. You should be able to access those IB's with your mother's amazing work. I have them set to "public" I think. You know that I think of her very often-- every time I see a cat, a rainbow, glitter, fun travel pictures, etc. LOL--and you, too. She was so very proud of you-- you know that, right? And she wanted the very best for you... :)
