can this cork tile flooring be laid over basemnet concrete floor?

Hi Jo, this is a glue down tile product (100% cork held in place with water based contact Cement) = NOT ALLOWED in basements. The floating cork floor (this pattern is called Leather) is your "go to" floor in basements.

Cork is great in basements (almost 30% of my Canadian clients use it in basements) because of it's thermal and acoustic values (it can eat the sound coming off or the entertainment unit)...but the floating floor is the only one allowed in basements.
