Utility room advice

We're getting ready to sell our house and I think we should paint the utility rooms but my husband disagrees. Right now it is white with cream trim (ick!) and hickory cabinets. Is it worth the effort to paint and if so, color recommendations? Thanks!

I don't think painting the room will make a difference in how people like your home or the room..as long as the paint is in good condition. To warm it up a bit, you could add some wicker baskets, close the blind and add a colorful mat. Add a large plant near the window. etc. I would stage vs paint.

I agree with everyone else. It's a nice space and clean. It won't make or break your sale. Take a moment to put your feet up from all that packing instead.

If I had a laundry like that I would be celebrating. Just make sure everything is clean. What is your overhead light. Does it have a cover over it, I can't tell. I see clay pots up high. Put some pretty plants in them as suggested. The most important thing for potential buyers is that everything is spotless. Love your spacious laundry. Easy sell.
