Before you throw the baby out with the bath water, so to speak, keep in mind that bathrooms are not inexpensive to re-do. Tiling a small floor in place of vinyl is inexpensive, but moving around fixtures adds up fast, especially if you are considering moving the toilet. If the bath is upstairs, such changes could even result in having to break through a ceiling downstairs, which is going to add to your costs. Many buyers love the idea of a large shower, for example, which you already have. I notice the door is rather narrow, however. You could save thousands by ordering a new glass wall with a wider sliding shower door so it doesn't take up space in the room, rather than ripping out the entire shower. It looks as if you have space for a storage unit of some type between the shower and the sink, which could be very helpful. Just switch the location of the towel bar. If the door to your bath is hinged, you could also gain space by installing a pocket door instead. I am sure that almost 3 feet of the length of your bathroom is being taken up with the door swinging into the room.
