We live down the street from this home and are having some trouble with the porch ceiling roofs that were installed. Would you mind telling us if this was a real tongue and groove, whether its pine or oak, and if it is stained? Is there a particular stain that results in the nice ceiling finishes like this and that we see all over town? I don't know how ours went so wrong but working on next steps to fix. Thank you for any help you may be able to provide.
