Thank you for the quick response. Two other questions - do you have the manufacturer of the lights? and is that light at the back of the room a high hat? I am designing my kitchen/family room (will be an L shape - galley kitchen and family room) and I am struggling to pick a cabinet and floor - small galley so I am thinking I have to stay light. My house was built in 1929 so I am trying to keep character without it looking dated.

Yes, the light in the back is recessed. Always good for ambient light in a kitchen.

Light and white kitchens are very popular right now, so there are lots of material options. And, we've found they blend well with older homes. You don't have to go completely white, though. It's fine to have darker cabinets *or* floor *or* countertops, just make sure the whole thing isn't dark. That will prevent it from feeling small.
