I'm sorry but I think you have too much "stuff" around the fireplace. It is pretty in its simplicity. The round thing, the pictures/statue/welcome sign are too much along with the box on the hearth. I would find long narrow artwork where the round thing is. I would put the welcome sign down one shelf...nothing on the top shelf. By the way....love your kokopelli on the door. Shows up yellow walls and white walls on my monitor....I would paint all the same color....probably white to show off the pretty fireplace.
