Hi everybody! This is my first time posting on here, but I am always so impressed by everyone's enthusiasm and assistance while reading others dilemmas. We are renovating our family room/great room in the spring and I would love some opinions/advice. His project will basically be a complete gut (getting rid of the wood paneling/popcorn ceiling). My biggest question is whether to R,emote the loft or keep it. I envision it coming down and leaving us with a large beautiful space (there are windows in the loft that let in a ton of light which then gets trapped on the upstairs only leaving the east of the room on the darker side. I want to get a feel for if people think having a loft the s worth keeping or is it more cost/benefit to remove. Thanks in advance! (Also please pardon the huge mess/furniture this room has been a junk collector since we moved in 2 years ago!!)
