They both will work, although, I prefer the second one. I love color and if I walked into a room and had a choice of beds, I would choose the one with happy colors.

Maureen - I have noticed that so many of the pictures have a white bed spread. Although I love the pictures you posted and think they would work well, because this is a vacation rental house, I'm afraid it would show dirt too easily. You also kept with the same seafoam green color. So is this best? Or would an accent color work (not sure what color). Thanks!! Very helpful!

You could keep the mocha and seafoam and skip the white. You also mentioned you wanted new lamps, but you could keep the one you have and just change the shade to a more modern mocha one. Without seeing the window wondering if bamboo roman blinds would work. Above the bed, a starburst mirror would be really pretty. [houzz=];[houzz=];[houzz=]

If it were mine, I'd paint the furniture white and put a more colorful bedspread on the bed. Use happy, cheerful colors to make the space more welcoming. Good luck.

neither one. I think the suggestion of painting the furniture white is great. your current color are so dusty. or at least I wold paint the cream white. then I would add white all. in a rental white looks clean and fresh.
It is a rental. It must be and look clean.

the one you like will not work because one blue/green is clean and yellowy the other is dusty. the brown fits with nothing.

Greens are so hard to match. Are you trying to find something online? I like Maureen's suggestion of mochas. I also like the idea of adding shine, either in shimmery bedding or metallic lamps, mirrors, etc. How about adding in some blues, like aqua, navy and turquoise?

if I were you I would paint the room a sea salt or Robin's egg and the furniture in a creamy white. then I can do anything with bedding. buy 2 sets.
