My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Backsplash

How do you like your tiles? I am looking for something similar, and I also like lots of variation within each tile itself. Does this silver crackle tile have good variation in real life? (hard to tell in photos sometimes)

    Sealer was applied only after installation. And Encore has a HUGE selection with more color choices, some subtle and some much more vivid. Beautiful choices. It was hard to decide. Go to a tile store that has the Encore line and you'll see their offerings. Walker Zanger's Gramercy line was our other choice for subway tile, but at the time it was backordered so would have delayed us.

      We LOVE the tile and yes it does have lots of variations. Husband and GC were not sure until it went on. Then they all thought it's quite beautiful. We didn't feel the need to have a different design backsplash behind the range because tile has variations in depth and color. Look at my pic of the pot filler that really shows the tile up close. Our color is Silver Crackle, which is a warmer off white, really.

      Thank you for your reply! I am so glad you love it. I am still trying to decide whether to go for a more neutral backsplash like the silver or something with maybe more a hint of color in it. Did you come across any other tiles in their collection that you also liked the look of? Also, do you have to apply a sealer before installation for these tiles?

      Above tile is NOT the Truffle. It is the Silver Crackle.
