There are quite a lot of options to buying Carrara. The issue with Carrara marble is that the majority over 90% has a very dark gray base.

The subway tile used here would have gone better with the Herringbone flooring had it just had some more veining in it. It is just a little too white. What I like about this shower is the contrast with the slightly darker light gray Bianco Carrara Herringbone used on the shower floor. Many customers go with the Venato on the walls because of the light appearance it creates.

But then a nice Bianco Carrara Herringbone with a lighter Gray can be used to create some variation. Many customers are doing this with Nero Marquina or Bardiglio Gray floors in shower. This shows off the contrast that really shows how white the Venato 6x12" really is.
