Charging Drawer

How do you avoid the cord of the power strip from getting in the way of the drawer opening/closing? Doesn't the rigidity get in the way?

    Good question. The cord is looped and strapped up to the back of the cabinet with the needed slack. This keeps the cord in the desired position during drawer operation while preventing it from interfering with the glides. Its a good idea to position the actual receptacle outlet that the power strip plugs into in the cabinet space below the drawer for easy access. - Thanks

    We have just displayed a solution to this problem at KBIS. It is called a "docking drawer", specifically designed for this application, the cord is attached to a rigid track that guides the cord in and out as the drawer is used, check out this photo, this one even has a thermostat shut off for bathroom appliances:
