You could try turning the sofa 90 degrees and place the TV and console where the dining table is. The table and chairs would then go near the sliding glass doors. Your dilemma, as I'm sure you've figured out, is that there are only two wall possibilities for the TV and console, and the seating has to be opposite or nearly. That puts the sofa in the middle of the room unless you want the TV there. Does the sofa separate into pieces, or is that an optical illusion? If it does, I would definitely separate them and try different configurations. Can you shorten the table? Unless the furniture is adjustable, if it were me, I'd want to replace it with smaller pieces, but I realize that may not be an option for someone who just bought a new home. Good luck!

Andra, great visuals to work with. Makaloco, is right about your entertainment center being your source of one wall. Installing it on the wall is your best solution. On a trivia note, I've been told by repair men it is the most difficult to repair and they have to go in to the shop.

Your furnishings look new but I would reconsider one of these type of tables possibly; freeing up your space. Take a look and see what is doable?

Lol, I could tell it was a drawing but thought it might represent your actual furniture. Good news that you can choose new pieces that are as flexible as possible. Unless it's REALLY important to you, I'd advise against trying to work in counter height seating. For one thing, stools don't adapt well to other purposes, while table chairs can supply extra TV or conversational seating when necessary. A small rolling island or cart might be useful. It could sit out of the way (for example, in the upper left corner of the sliding doors or next to the bedroom door) and double as a bar stand when not in use, but could also be moved in front of the kitchen if you need an extra surface for prep or serving.
