I once visited a garden in which the owner buried the necks of wine bottles in the ground, allowing the rest of the bottle to stick above ground so the wine bottles could act as decorative edging along a pathway. It took a lot of wine bottles, though, and they were smaller than 3 litres.

I saw a page that took the large wine bottles and put paint in it and swirled it around the bottom half. A small solar light was then set in the top and at night when the light came on they marked the path. Beautiful. going to use glass paint and try the mirror glass paint too. I also thought of pushing the colored paper they use to cover baskets with, you know it comes in red, blue green etc. Ill try red to see if it looks like a flame. I love this stuff lol.
