So there are NO sansevieria collectors in this group?

I only have 2 Sansevieria plants but have been trying for several months to start a collection. Problem is it's almost impossible to find small plants or seeds for purchase. I have been hoping to purchase or trade one leaf cuttings to grow my own plants to no avail. I see your post is several years old. Did you ever find any collectors?

Seeds are harder to come by and if they're too old they may not grow. Silver Hills in South Africa sells Hyacinthoides. And I have germinated one seed so far from the batch sent to me. However, this variety is available to buy here from a number of nurseries. I'm sure there will be people you can trade with locally -- do you have any succulent plant shows in your areas?

Plus you guys have a lot of great stuff on your local auction sites, and you can relatively easily bring plants into the country. There is little to stop you from expanding your collections, other than resources. I’d be happy to swap. However, I am not local so if little help in this endeavour. 🙂

I still have a few sans from Herman (jover) when we traded years ago, I heard he got out of sans and is collecting something else.

Not a problem re Herman (jover). You guys have access to a greater variety to what we have in Oz. Though, a few have been imported over the years, both legally and, err, not so legally. And even more so re aroids. 🙂

White Laurentii (clearly a trade name) — Bantels hybrid. Interestingly, the pup is quite different (colour) to parent.

Hope to see you there. I have owed a few Masoniana but gifted them out. Space hogs with their huge root systems that broke pots. Only a leaf or two to a growing point (node). So many others that are way nicer.
