Well, like I promised, here is the up date on my phal from December. The plant in the lower left all of a sudden turned yellow and started dropping. Don't know if it was sunburn or the start of a fungus or what..It had started a spike and the thought was it may have been on it's way out so I could either let it flower and stress the plant to death or cut the spike and try to save the plant. I left it alone. Success I think. It stopped progressing downhill. It still has a few yellow leaves that it will eventually loose but the spike has grown although thin and to my surprise, the 2nd plant in the pot spiked from an old cut spike. Seems to be holding it's own. So....I think it will be ok. Never say never...
