Congratulations on getting your orchid to rebloom.
A bit of trivia, orchid bred and named by P.Buranaraktham so we all know where Burana comes from.
Probably best repotted in spring into a slightly larger pot and needs a little bit more light than a Phalaenopsis. Try and find some complete "Cattleya" notes written for Northern USA on the net.

This catt is very fragrant and lovely. I have one that seems destined to end up on the compost heap, like all my other cattleyas. The one you have should put out new pbulbs after blooming and it will just keep producing flowers if it's happy with your growing conditions. What sort of light is yours in?

I also have had a really large Burana for 7 or 8 years now - it was a rescue plant that has turned out to be a vigorous grower and a profuse bloomer. Mine is pretty sturdy and undemanding. It is taken out onto the balcony as soon as temps at night stay above 5C and stays there as long as they don't drop below same mark, that is, roughly till mid November. Then I take it in, allow it to bloom - often its second time - and then either move it to the winter quarters where it rests till early spring or keep it on a warmer window sill and allow it to grow new p.bulbs - depending on the weather and the frame of mind it's in.
I'm not claiming to provide best growing conditions for mine, just showing it can be pretty tough. I have a lot of Epiphyllums, Selenicereus, and tons of other plants that need lower temps over the winter, so my Burana doesn't have much choice but to live by the universal rules.

Beautiful! Congrats on the bloom. As far as repotting, Cattleya types do best if you repot just as new roots are starting to grow out of a new pseudobulb, but before they reach something to grab onto (media, side of a pot, whatever.) That way they can continue to grow without being disturbed while the newest roots are growing. Pot for the size of the root ball, with enough room for the next years growth, should need to be much more than an couple inches larger than it's old pot, (unless it's been a while since you've repotted!)

Thanks for replies. I move it around a lot depending on season to get the most window sun without scorching or freezing it. Didn't really think I would have enough sun to get it to ever bloom. So was ecstatic to get these.

In zone 3, do not repot now. Wait until Spring.

I had one for years growing it in NY. It is vigorous and can be a repeat bloomer. Just don't do anything now. Wait for warmer days and longer light.

Beautiful! Nicely done! I just re bloomed my only Catt as well and it is a LC Burgundy Delight with 3 little flowers. There are 3 more buds on the other end of the rhizome as well so I'll really get to enjoy for awhile!
