Be sure to check if the soil is dry before watering. If it is still moist wait another day and check again. Too much water can also cause yellow dying lower leaves.

Keep pinching out the growing tips to help force more stems from the bottom. The first year or two I pinch, pinch, pinch. Hard to give up blooms but you will have a much stronger plant.
