Hey all

I live in Cape Town, South Africa. Here, we have cold-ish, rainy winters 'round June; and hot, dry, windy summers through December time. I harvested a whole bunch of moss through winter, with the intention of making a terrarium. The terrarium's really finicky - it's taking way longer than expected to be completed. The mosses have been quite healthy up until just now, but recently they've slowly but surely started becoming more brown; and they're not giving off any tangible amounts of water, or their characteristic smell.

I've attached a snapshot of some of them.

I'm not particularly knowledgeable, and any help would be very much appreciated. I need to save these guys!
