    Hi Rina,
Missed your januaripost, but here's mine for today.
A Crassula nemerosa; very, very tiny. For me not so easy to keep it alive.

    greets
    Harry

I'm sorry to say this is all I got and as Tom and Harry mentioned in another thread by Harry, with 12 ~ 18" on its way, I'll be digging out, too!

    Harry
    C. nemerosa flowers remind me of snowdrops. What a nice plant.

    Howard
    Gorgeous colors on both plants.
Are these in your GH or under lights in your basement set-up?
Sounds like your GH is getting snowed in...As long as power is on!

Rina, the one on the left is Echeveria leucotricha and it is in my home in front picture window. The other is Echeveria pulvinata and it is under lights in basement. Thanks for asking and yes, will be digging out tomorrow!!!!

Beautiful blooms, Rina, Harry & Howard!

Here's part of my front yard (PIG) with at least 5 bloomers in the pic.
Click for larger view (weird-not showing a thumbnail as it should).
    {{gwi:2143423}}

It says we can edit. Just trying it out. Later, I'll see if I can remove pix. Still bugs me that thumbnail didn't show up.

    Rosemarie:

You California folks are cheaters. Try below zero and three feet of snow and see what grows outdoors!

    Well it opened.

    Another hasn't quite opened yet

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><md>I guess I should've gotten a closer pic lol
My camera on my phone isn't capturing the color on the tips all that well. The tips are purplish color

    Rosemarie

Your front yard looks great. Nice to see it after all that flooding you had.
(I found that photobucket is acting up, wouldn't post some thumbs - in same post).

    Rina

Ha haaaaa, Christopher...YES, cheaters!! Can't imagine being where you guys live with all that WHITE stuff! Yeow!

LilBit, is that one (1st & 3rd) an xGasteraloe 'Midnight'? It looks great!

Thanks, Rina. The flooding wasn't as bad as the below frost temps for 4 nights in a row - right after a rain. Just now finding parts of plants that died ~ Aloe, Gasteraloe & some smaller plants. I should know better...and should have covered them! :(

I wonder if the Photobucket thing will get fixed?

    Pretty blooms, Laura & oldgardenguy!

Just came back to see if my photo might have gone back to being a thumbnail. Nope, but still here AND I notice I have NO option to edit in this thread, whereas, newer posts, the editing feature is available. I am not liking this. Is anyone else able to edit their post in THIS thread?

Okay, just noticing I have option to edit this post & the one I made on Saturday, but not from previous day (one when I uploaded my pic).

Not much going on here in fridge Michigan. This Rebutia flowers all year for me and I love going out to the greenhouse because, with our gray skies, this glimmer of sun helps. The Euphorbia usually goes dormant this time of year but for whatever reason we not only have leaves growing but its infamous lipstick flowers!

    Pretty lipstick, Howard!

Roro, I think posts & photos can be deleted if only 1week or less old...something like that. Not sure if same applies to editing. (Shouldn't be giving advice if not sure, right?) Nice to see you! Rina

check out the color on this aloe.

Hi Howard! I've been getting more sun this winter than I can remember any other winter. Are you noticing the same in your area of Michigan?

Here's a NOID Truncata with a new bloom (it bloomed nicely over Christmas) and a couple of seed pods.

    I LOVE spring!
I have this cutie pushing out bracts.

Hey Guys and Gals, we're not done with February pics, are we????? There has to be more.... more...more....

I brought this back from London, UK a couple of years ago. This is its first flower. I found two other plants locally and didn't realize this. My larger plants flower much more prolifically during the summer!

This one and the other Turbino's I have are very reliable flower producers...just don't water them too much!

All great plants, folks! Keep them coming!
Nil, do you know the name of your dark Aloe?

    last modified: 11 years ago

    Yeah, it's '2013BL02'.;P

I think I'll have to come up with something a little more catchy. It's one of the F2 hybrid plants I grew from a Blimey Limey seedpod.

My aloes have been in bloom and looking great, but I enjoy some smaller flowers, too.

    Graptosedum 'Vera Higgins'

    Graptosedum 'California Sunset'

    Sedum nussbaumerianum

And Haworthia fasciata always amuses me.

    Euphorbia obesa -vvvvv

Is anyone else having a heck of a time editing posts with images and not being able to get the text where you want it?

I have an Aloe x spinnosissima . The aloe capitata aborted its bloom.

I rolled in the plants above due to a freeze coming tomorrow morning. I also had to cover some in-ground Aloe greatheadii andA. greenii that are in bloom. I hope that will keep the flowers from damage.

    Aloe bellatula.

Starting to get some action from a pot of Kalanchoe cuttings assembled in the fall.

    Ludisia (jewel orchid.)

Crenda, not only flowers but beautifully colored leaves on your succulents! Nil, great plants. Love that euphorbia. last of your photos looks like crassula Springtime?
Mara, I guess we all have some challenges with weather - even if you can leave your plants outside, still need to watch for occasional freezing temps. Always good to see your photos.
I have only few kalanchoe blooms right now.

    Rina

Rina, here's a pic showing the plant. It's the green one. I'm going with Sedum something instead of Crassula Springtime.

Cheating?... not in my book. It helps me save on airfare and keep thing vicariously through others. My outdoor ones are now lying on the ground due to being weighted down by the frost cover.

nil, thank you. Here is my C. Springtime (leaves look little different from yours).

All those flowering aloes are beautiful, great color show.
