Will this ever result in an actual pumpkin?

Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie. I experimented with planting a pumpkin seed in a very small container. I placed it under grow lights and never transplanted it because I forgot to do it and, by the time I noticed that it was growing larger, I became afraid to transplant it (I transplanted a pumpkin plant seedling last year to a larger pot and it died shortly after..I was very sad). Surprisingly, this year's seedling continued to grow in the small container. There are even a few male flowers that have bloomed. Does anyone know if my plant will ever have female flowers, or is it too small? Should I risk transplanting it to a larger pot? Would this tiny plant ever be able to produce a small pumpkin?

Since you have made a tree-like habit, you might do the next step and turn the main vine 180ÃÂ° per gravity.
But the plant will stay upright with the first two feet, as we see it with this picture, when we turn it 90ÃÂ°.
So this pumpkin has a strong stump... held by a stick.. the main vine hung like Salix babylonica pendula.
We already see smaller leafs out of the first true leafÃÂ´s node... these foliage will remain so small when hung down with their side vines.
And for this pretty bonsai indoor pumpkin you have to give a small pot like it already is. Fertilize with the help of bonsai growers, but never give so much potassium. like we pumpkin growers do for bigger foliage.
The frist true lief can be cut off now, since it turns to yellow. Maybe you also remove the next (second true leaf?) one now.

What type are you growing because most pumpkin vines should be at least twice that long before flowering.

You might get fruit if you feed it a lot. Pumpkins like rich soil and are heavy feeders. In a pot that small you need to feed it regularly and give it a lot of water, along with enough light. Then you might get a pumpkin.
