I have a job on an estate in Northern Virginia that has approximately 200 American Boxwoods in terrible need of care. Last year I got rid of the insect infestation. Now I need to do some serious pruning, they are very leggy. My question is when is the ideal time to do this type of pruning? I plant to cut their size in half. It would be great if I could get to this job now but I was wondering if I should wait.
