Interesting Timato Finds

Have you found an interesting tomato variety lately?
If so, please share it with us, if you will.

To some of us a real huge tomato is interesting; To some other aspect of it.
I, myself, am a COLOR sucker.I can say that I am a visual person more that anything else.
OK. Here is my latest Interesting tomato find:

DWARF PURPLE HEAT (see picture below)

Bot its inner and outer color is fascinating to me. And its shape , well, heart like.

So what is yours ?

That is a really pretty Deep Purple Heat. haha. I am experimenting with several new varieties in 2015. This thread will get many hits.

After I ordered and got the seeds, I have just learned that this is a 2015 release from the "Dwarf Project". So this is a brand new OP now.

Seysonn, here's another beautiful tomato from the Cross Hemisphere Dwarf project. This one had some cat facing, but otherwise a beautiful tomato. It's aptly called Sunrise Sunset. Yellow with beautiful deep pink streaks. I grew this one in 2013. One of the priorities the dwarf project uses in developing new varieties is good flavor, so you won't be disappointed.

Seysonn, I like colors too and that dwarf Purple Heart is calling my name.:)
Jennie, your Summer Sunrise looks good.

This season I am growing the Indigo blueberries and I was getting worried about the taste because they seem to me that they took a long time to ripen. I am trying them now and they are okay and will make a nice addition to the other cherry tomatoes in different colors.

That dwarf black heart looks fantastic!
I have grown Dwarf Wild Fred which is excellent and have seeds of Brad's Black heart- another parent to be grown yet...
entire dwarf project is so good, I grew few of them last year and it was a breeze to cage. For smaller gardens just the thing and taste is there as well. I will be growing Dwarf Arctic Rose which is the earliest I believe, Wherokowhai-bicolor and Sleeping Lady -dark this year.

Well, I've read some about Rose being a healthier heirloom than Brandywine and very close in taste tests. I haven't tried it on my own though.

I grew this season dwarf Green Jade, the taste is good but difficult to tell when is ripe, I had to go by touch. In my garden considering the amount of foliage was not that productive, maybe in the spring season will do better....

Here it is with a Kosovo

And right now the variety that is so productive in my garden is Green Zebra cherry, and is not difficult to tell when is ripe because it gets a yellow tint. it is coming back the next season for sure!

I grew Indigo Blue Berries, they did seem to take a long time to get ripe. Mine were prolific and out of three varieties, they produced the most. I was still eating them, long after the others were done. They turn deep red where the sun doesn't hit.
