Hey Dave, That's our Wal-mart! I mean It is the nearest for us :D . I will check their garden center when I am in that area. You can certainly buy the sets now and plant them in mid March if the ground is workable, onions can take a light frost. Yesterday I noticed some leftover onions sprouting in the garden (yes at this temperature!). I have just started some onion seeds indoors and if all goes well, I will plant them out in the garden by the end of March.

Thanks folks, I'll go get the sets today if they still have them and plan them later. I have a bed that I planted garlic in last fall and I figured I will use the rest of the bed for onions.
