Where can someone get or make a couch like that.

What is the name of the mattress company? Is the sofa comfortable? Can you lean back (against the wall / pillows)?

The mattress company is Charles Beckley, in NYC. Yes you can lean back very comfortably into the layers of pillows and even stretch out you legs on the side sections.

The center mattress is 36" deep

I wish you all the best with it! It's a lot of fun to do actually! Just find a good place to make the mattresses and be sure you figure out the sizes you need. I made full scale brown paper templets to be sure it would work in my space well.

I love the yellow so much but I have little children is there anther colour that you think would work for the base? great idea for paper templates.

Hi, any color you like will be fine. The yellow works here with my color scheme but it could be done in many other combinations - as long as they all go well together. Make it your own and enjoy doing it! Best of luck with it.

You know what I think is a wonderful way to determine color? Find a painter or group of painters you like and look at the colors they use. For my living room I was inspired by the Renaissance painters of Sienna, Italy and have a wonderful book of their painting which helped me a lot. Presently I am working with a client who loves the colors of Cezanne's landscapes so we are taking our color scheme from them. You can see images of many artists online so you don't have to go buy a book necessarily. Do a Google image search for artists you like. I hope that helps.

No, nothing. But you could put a bit of that thin non slip rubber used under rug if you need it.

I know someone asked this question already but as I'm considering canceling the Vanguard couch I custom ordered and building this instead I should be certain to confirm your answer... On a scale of 1-10 how comfortable would you rate these cushions? This design is straight from my dreams but I just want to make sure the comfort is also! :)
