Not sure, and nomenclature is inconsistent anyway, but try searching for Magma, Magma Supreme, Black and Gold, Black Lightning, and similar.

Thanks kitchendetective. The pics I see of those look more black with some color. I'd characterize this as white with some gray-ish black and orangy/peach.

MIL did a refresh of teh kitchen in her old house with white cabinets (new doors) and a predominantly black granite and disliked the dark granite. She wants predominantly light, which is one of the many reasons I am encouraging her to be sure to pick slabs.

Cinderella Gold is shown in a newer thread. Try that.

And there are the Giallos: Giallo Ornamentale, Giallo, etc.

I still think that (Cinderella gold) is too color-heavy. And the Giallos look more 'dotty'. This looks more 'veiny' but in a cloudy sort of way.

I'm going to a slab yard with her today. I'm going to show her Alaska, Aspen White, Alpine, and the Bianco's.

My MIL's kitchen counters look very close to your picture. Hers is called Imperial Gold. I could try and get a picture to show you, but hers is with oak cabinets. Maybe do a google search for imperial gold with white cabs to get an idea of that combo.

Thanks rebunky. That looks closer. Her sample has a lot more gray/black than most of the images I have seen, but some have patches that look like what she's got. It's a good example to show her how different things can look if you choose site unseen.

Successful trip to the slab yard. Now she gets that she has to pick her slab if she wants any kind of a granite with movement/variation. She's leaning towards Monte Cristo. :)
