Looks like oyster mushroom spawn, a little early unless you do it indoor, ...plus 20C. I used to grow it outdoor/shed in summer. Straw needs to be pasteurized first. Logs take allot longer for harvest.

Sounds like a good plan, ..getting into mushrooms can use up a good portion of your time on hand.
