Bathroom counter top help

I'm having a new cabinet, counter top and sink installed in our existing bathroom. I really want to put in a copper sink. The new cabinet will be painted white because the room is quite small. Anyone have suggestions for color/ type of counter top? The floor tile is the same as what you see in the shower.

Personally I don't like to mix metals that much if there is big contrast--
using a copper sink in a small room where you have a nickle shower enclosure would seem to highlight the differences in color of metals no matter what tile you are using...
If you want a metal sink would you consider a hammered stainless or pewter
metal sink?

I am actually considering a hammered stainless as well. Thanks for your input.

I'm with l2r. While I think copper sinks can be very pretty, I think you'd be better off matching the shower doors.
